Aridair - portable climate control - bespoke heating equipment

Pest eradication

Traditionally, chemicals have been used to control pests like rats, mice, wasps and insects. But both changes in legislation and increasing concern for the environment and personal health have led to the phasing out of toxic fumigants in favour of thermal systems.

Treatment with Aridair heat is clean, safe, quick and effective, with no risk to either people or the ozone layer. The hot air can be piped into inaccessible areas. There are no unpleasant odours. And unlike chemical methods, Aridair will eliminate the whole life cycle, including eggs and larvae.

Typical treatment parameters
Insects, worms, termites, eggs and larvae: 63°F for 3 hours
Bacteria including E. coli: 63°F for 25 minutes
Mould: 63°F for 30 minutes
Rodents: 66°F for 3 hours

In the case of rodents, the heat is increased gradually. This forces the vermin to leave the building before they die, so there are no bodies to dispose of.
