Aridair - portable climate control - bespoke heating equipment

Roads, railways, bridges and tunnels

A major cost in bridge maintenance is the prevention of corrosion damage. Protective paint is expensive, both in terms of material and labour. And repeated heavy applications of paint can add substantially to the weight of the bridge.

If the relative humidity around the structure can be kept below 50%, then corrosion will be minimal. This is best done by circulating dry air around the girders and struts. The heated air can even protect sections that are difficult or impossible to reach with conventional methods.

Aridair have a range of solutions that are ideal for this application, working effectively in wet and sub-zero temperatures.
